Teifi Valley artists open their studios

Artists in the Teifi Valley are opening their studios to visitors during each Bank Holiday from Easter to August this year. They have been part of the Cardigan Open Studios in the past but as that event is not taking place again until 2010 (Cardigan town’s big anniversary) these members wanted to continue inviting local residents and visitors to see them at work.

Sally Pearce speaking for the artists said:

“It is always a pleasure to talk to the public since painting can be an isolated occupation and we are all enthusiasts.

“The works on display range from naïve to floral, life paintings to abstracts, land and seascapes, drawing and printmaking. Cards and prints will be available along with the original work and the artists are there to question about their techniques and inspirations.
